Q: Why should I come to you?
A: The full answer would make a very, very long list. Here’s just a few. Use it as a Inquiry List if you plan on doing some comparative shopping:
- Your regimen will be custom designed and overseen by an Exercise Physiologist. We are also members of ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine). Make sure you check your potential trainer’s credentials. Currently there are NO certification requirements to be a personal trainer or to open a facility.
- Our studio is a comfortable environment, NOT like a big warehouse.
- We design your program based the Whole You. Though there are basic components to a well rounded program that applies to everyone, we customize each aspect of your routine based on your particular circumstances and limitations. There is no ‘Cookie Cutter’ routines here.
- We don’t know of anyplace (And we have looked!) that will come close to offering what we offer at the price we offer it at.
Q: I’ve joined gyms before and the membership ends up paid for but unused after a couple of months. What kind of commitment do I have to make?
A: The only commitment you have to make is to yourself You only pay for the training sessions you schedule, as you schedule them. There is no contract or financial commitment beyond that. It is part of our job to help you stay committed and motivated towards reaching your goal. Most people fall short of their goals and then lose interest due to lack of direction. Not here! The big gyms stay in business by selling memberships that don’t get used. We stay in business by keeping you coming in.
Q: Your place is like having my own gym, can I just pay a monthly fee to come use it when I want?
A: Quite frankly..No. In order for us to make sure that the equipment is available for training sessions and people don’t have to wait for a particular piece, all times have to be scheduled. We will however make every attempt to accommodate a request for training/cardio time no matter how short notice
Q: Do I always have to schedule a personal training session in order to use the Studio?
A: Yes and No. Our equipment and work out areas are always scheduled. However sometimes scheduling is no more than checking for availability before coming in.
Q: Is there a minimum or maximum number of sessions I can have in a week?
A: The number of training sessions you have is based on your goals, how quickly you want to reach them and what is the optimum Training/Cardio to get you there. You can count on a minimum of two training sessions per week (Less than that would be no help to you). Additionally there will be Cardio sessions.
Q: What are your fees?
A: There are a number of variables affecting the overall cost. To try to post a set fee would be misleading. However we have yet to find anyone or anyplace that offers what we offer at a price as low as us.
Q: What about possible special conditions that may prevent me from doing all the exercises?
A: Not a Problem!! Cheryl specializes in working with people that don’t belong to the ‘Typical’ crowd. Cheryl’s philosophy is that everyone can improve their health through proper nutrition and exercise. She will work with your Health Advisors and you to create a program that will provide you with the greatest benefits your limitations allow. All of our clients with special conditions have found that through our programs they have been able to some degree minimize the effects that the condition has on their day to day lives. In some cases they were even able to turn back some of the effects.
Q: I’m, how shall I say it, “Big”. I’m concerned about your equipment not being adequate.
A: Don’t be. All of our equipment is the sturdiest, highest quality stuff on the market. Our treadmills handle upwards to 500lbs. Even our furniture was purchased with you in mind. You can be sure you will be comfortable.
Q: If your so qualified, your equipment is so top notch, and your studio is so nice, why are your fees so low?
A: It has to do with our Mission Statement. It is our goal to improve the health and lives of as many people as we can through the best nutrition and exercise programming available. To do that we deliberately make our service fees as affordable as possible and still be able to pay the bills and stay in business. (Okay, we admit we like to be able to eat once in a while too.)
